The Infinitas Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2023 and is based in Northern Virginia. Our organization provides short-term respite care, advocacy and coaching services, and family-centered programming for families who are raising kids with developmental disabilities across NOVA and the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan areas. We provide a “home-away-from-home” setting with a “whole-of-family” community approach. The Infinitas Foundation keeps families close to key services and close to each other.

Why We Exist
- 14,000 people in the state of Virginia are on a waitlist to get services:
- Over 3,000 people on the Virginia Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver waitlist are considered “Priority 1” (priorities range from 1-3).
- Only 500 – 1000 waivers are allocated per year for individuals identified as Priority 1 with the Virginia Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver waitlist.
- Long waitlists are increasing burnout on families and caregivers.
